GLOW YOUTH TRAINING

We believe one of the greatest gifts we have been given by God is the beauty of the church community. Discipleship is a tool that connects us to each other and to the Father. We are so excited to continue growing something that has been stirring on our hearts... to train the next generation to live life fully as sons and daughter of God on mission. We believe that mission starts in our homes, extends to our communities, and branches out into the whole world.

Our GLOW youth training will be for high schoolers age 15-20 who have a heart to follow Jesus and share His love wherever we go. We will have different training/ fellowship times throughout the year for our high schoolers/ recently graduated that will ready them to be on mission- and will ready them for helping serve in our Summer Camps and/or a Summer Mission Experience. We believe when we learn and grow as communities it creates bonds and experiences that will propel us forward unified. We pray these training days over the next few months will connect our high schoolers and prepare them for what God has ahead of each of them. We will be sharing our Glow training event dates through our emails and our social media so be sure to sign up to receive info from Camp Glow.
OUR HEARTBEAT
IDENTITY
We will focus on how the Father sees and values each of us. We will grow as sons and daughters of God, leaning in to His voice and learning to walk confidently with Him guiding us. We truly believe that knowing who we are in Him is a vital step in learning how to serve and love others.
TRANSPARENCY
To run with friends and family in life we must learn how to trust one another. We value each other's stories and are transparent with how the Father is molding and shaping us, in our struggles and our victories. We will learn how to share our testimonies of His goodness in our lives.
COMMUNITY
We will learn how to connect with the Father through His word, journaling and dwelling with Him. But we will also learn how to Connect to others, like our families and our friendships He puts before us. We will learn to stop and value each person put before us.
ON MISSION
We will learn about the Seminary of Life... a life lived always on mission for Him. We will learn how to view "ordinary moments" as the journey of our walk with the Lord. We will learn how to be on mission NOW everywhere we go, and how to be bold in what He asks us to do. We will give opportunities for youth to serve and use their gifts to build experiences that will propel them forward in a life walking with Jesus.
